Is Online Poker Legal in Wisconsin?
Welcome to Wisconsin, the cheese state. Wisconsin is know for beer, cheese and of course Football but they also have a number of casinos throughout the state that offer poker.
There is currently a small chance of online poker legislation to come to the state of Wisconsin. But, there has been little effort for legislation to be introduced. The tribal casinos in the state have not pushed for online poker like tribes in other states have.

A bet is a bargain in which the parties agree that, dependent upon chance even though accompanied by some skill, one stands to win or lose something of value specified in the agreement. 
This definition implies that poker does involve skill but is still a game of chance and thus considered gambling.
Gambling in the state is restricted to the state lottery, tribal casinos and a number horse tracks throughout the state. Live poker rooms can be found in a number of tribal casinos throughout the state. A number of poker rooms can be found around Milwaukee and the State capital Madison. The chances of seeing regulated online poker in the state of Wisconsin is unlikely anytime soon. The state does not seem to have strong stance against online poker, but there are few in state government or casinos advocating online poker regulation. The future on online poker in the Wisconsin does not look as good as it does in other states like Nevada and New Jersey.
